Personal Chef and Catering Services

Vanessa has been cooking for us for about 3 years. We are very happy with her and the food.  Our first meeting she brought some yummy home-made sweets and took the time to thoroughly review our dietary preferences.  She always e-mails us the upcoming menu and gives us a chance to make changes if we prefer.  She’s open to cooking from recipes that we find and want to try out- or if we don’t have the time, she’ll recommend a menu for us.  She goes to Whole Foods and buys everything there because we prefer organic and pesticide- and hormone-free produce and meat.  This makes things a little more expensive, but then I don’t have to think twice about feeding our food to our one year old son.  

Vanessa always arrives promptly, works efficiently, and cleans up so you’d never know she was there.  She packs the food away very conveniently, and we always know exactly where to retrieve the next meal.  All we have to do is follow the reheating instructions on the weekly menu she leaves for us, and presto, a lovely home-cooked meal is served.  The food tastes great and the portions are generous, even for my 6’4” husband.  He’s been on a modified low-carb diet for these past few months and has lost over 20 pounds.  He looks and feels great (he had to exercise too, mind you).  Some dishes taste better reheated then others, and Vanessa is very open to feedback when something doesn’t come out just right.  We are very satisfied, and have recommended Vanessa to a number of friends.  She is very professional and a great chef!

Just wanted to let you know that the curry was fabulous! Dean said it was his favorite dish so far! And the house still has that delicious smell!   

The cod was probably the best fish me, Dean and Tom ever had! It was just perfect!
