My name is Vanessa Bathfield, known as the “Kiwi Chef”. Kiwis are typically flightless birds, but this little Kiwi left New Zealand in the early 90s and came to Los Angeles to fulfill a dream. In 2005, I launched my personal chef and catering company with the mission to help improve the quality of life for busy families by providing fresh and delicious meals through our range of culinary services. Like another Antipodean, Chef Curtis Stone, I work with the freshest produce to create healthy and tasty meals that are tailored made just for you.
I’m excited to welcome you to my blog. The goal of my blog is to provide helpful hints and information about healthy ingredients, to share great new recipes and other tools and techniques that you can use when cooking. All for the joy of celebrating wonderful meals together.
Through my company MOTHERS HELPING HAND, I’m dedicated to providing ease of service and family friendly meals that entice your palate and stretch your child’s nutritional boundaries while being budget conscious and creative.
Through my catering division CHEF VANESSA, I’ve helped people celebrate some their most important occasions. It is my goal to make your life as easy as possible so you can relax with your guests, enjoy scrumptious food and let my staff and I handle absolutely every detail.
